High school student-athletes may only take official
visits (visits for athletic purposes in which any part
of the expenses are paid for by the college or
university) after the first day of class of their senior
year.
However, high school student-athletes may take
unofficial visits (visits that are paid for by the high
school student-athlete, parents or guardians) during
freshman, sophomore, junior or senior year.
