Every year, thousands of high school student-athletes decide that they
want to participate in college sports.  Some of them have the benefit of
having an older sibling who has gone through the process.  Others don't
have a clue as to where to begin.

Whether this process is old hat to the family of the high school student-
athlete or if this is the first child in the family who has expressed an
interest in playing college sports, three things are certain: 1) the college
initial eligibility process is a cooperative effort with the high school
student-athlete, the family, the coach and the guidance counselor; 2)
college eligibility regulations change every year; and 3) high school
student-athletes never start the process early enough.

This website is designed to provide information to the high school
student-athlete who is looking to participate in college sports at an NCAA
college or university.  This website is also a resource for the parents,
coaches and guidance counselors who are assisting the high school
student-athlete in the process.  The site covers the basics of initial
eligibility for college sports, recruiting, financial aid, testing information
and amateurism information.  There is also a page listing resources to
    assist in this endeavor.

Don't forget - this is a process.  Be organized and stay informed.  Good
    luck!
